Most landscape failures are drainage failures. We grade lots to move water away from foundations, install French drains and surface inlets to handle the rest, and tie everything into daylight or municipal storm where allowed.
Get water away from the building
The single biggest factor in any building's longevity is the first 10 ft of grade around it. We re-grade, install French drains, and seal foundations as needed to keep water moving the right direction.
Materials and sourcing
We spec materials for how they hold up on a Muskoka property first, and how they look second. That means marine-grade fasteners near the lake, kiln-dried framing where humidity swings, and finishes rated for the freeze-thaw cycle.
