We work across Bracebridge, Huntsville, Gravenhurst, the Township of Muskoka Lakes (Port Carling, Windermere, Bala), Lake of Bays, Georgian Bay Township, Port Severn, Severn Bridge, and the Parry Sound area. Bracebridge is our home base, so most of the district is within an easy drive.
Are you a licensed and insured general contractor?+
Yes. Northern Oaks Contracting is fully insured with WSIB coverage in good standing, and we can provide current certificates before any work begins. Permits, drawings, and inspections are handled as part of our scope.
How much does a renovation or custom build cost in Muskoka?+
Bathrooms typically run in the mid five figures, kitchens in the low-to-mid six figures, and custom builds vary widely with site conditions and finish level. Rather than quote a per-square-foot number that will not hold, we do a site visit and send a written, itemized estimate with our assumptions listed.
How long does a project take?+
A bathroom is usually a few weeks, a kitchen a couple of months, and a custom build or major addition runs across seasons. Your estimate includes a realistic schedule, and you can see progress, photos, and updates any time in your client portal.
Do you work through the winter?+
Yes. Interior renovations run year-round, and exterior work is scheduled around freeze cycles using cold-weather concrete and masonry practices. Booking a winter interior slot is often the fastest way onto our calendar.
Do you offer a workmanship warranty?+
Every project carries a five-year workmanship warranty on our own work, on top of the manufacturer warranties covering materials and equipment.
