Interlock driveways, natural stone walkways, grading, drainage, and lighting.
We build the landscape that finishes a Muskoka build: interlock and natural-stone driveways, walkways, grading, drainage, sod, native planting, and low-voltage lighting. One crew from grade to garden.
In Port Severn that work looks specific. Port Severn is the southern entry to Muskoka and Georgian Bay, with a strong renovation market on older cottages and a growing four-season community.
Practically, it means we scope landscape construction around Gloucester Pool, Georgian Bay, Severn River access, the shoreline setbacks that apply to your lot, and a build window that fits the season. Permits and inspections go through the Township of Georgian Bay building department, and we file them as part of the contract rather than leaving the paperwork with you.
Engineered crushed-stone base with proper compaction, geotextile separation, and frost-depth excavation. Driveways that heave are driveways with skipped base.
Grade analysis, French drains, swales, dry wells, and surface flow routed to keep water off the cottage, the septic field, and the lake.
Native and Muskoka-hardy planting that survives drought weekends, deer pressure, and winter without irrigation babysitting.
Low-voltage landscape lighting on paths, walls, and specimen trees, controlled by photocell or app, sized so the cottage glows without becoming a stadium.

"We hired Rob to complete a chimney rebuild and do some work on an exterior and interior wall. The work was completed within the agreed upon time frame and when we had an issue with the fireplace after the chimney rebuild Rob was speedy to come back and sort it out."
"My property manager recommended Rob. I obtained multiple quotes, and his company stood out as the most professional and offered the best price. I highly recommend them, excellent customer service and I'm very satisfied with their work."

Yes. Port Severn is inside our regular service area and we run landscape construction projects on Gloucester Pool and Georgian Bay through the season. We are based in Muskoka, so site visits, warranty callbacks, and supplier runs do not carry travel surcharges from out of district.
Structural work, additions, most decks, shoreline structures, and new plumbing or electrical need a permit from the Township of Georgian Bay building department. Cosmetic finishes usually do not. We confirm the requirement during the site visit and handle the application, drawings, and inspection scheduling under the same contract.
