New gravel driveways, lane rebuilds, culvert entrances, parking pads, and stone pathways.
Bracebridge driveways range from short in-town accesses to long rural lanes off Cedar Lane, Beaumont Drive, and the concession roads. The failure mode is the same on both: water running down the surface instead of across it.
We build with stripped subgrade, geotextile over soft ground, granular base in compacted lifts, and a crush top that binds and crowns. On the long rural lanes we plan ditching and cross-culverts as part of the driveway rather than as an afterthought.
New entrances onto a town or district road need an entrance permit covering culvert size, invert, and sightlines. We apply and build to that standard.
Gravel spread on soft ground disappears into it. We strip organics, place geotextile where subgrade is weak, build granular base in compacted lifts, and finish with a clean crush top that binds.
Water has to leave the surface and keep leaving it. A proper crown, ditching where the lane cuts a slope, and cross-culverts at the low points are what separate a five-year lane from a yearly repair.
A new entrance onto a town or district road needs an entrance permit, correct culvert size and invert, and sightline compliance. We apply, build to the standard, and get it signed off.
Stone-dust and flagstone paths get the same treatment at a smaller scale: excavated base, compacted granular, edge restraint, and drainage. That is why they do not heave or wander.

It comes down to length, width, base depth, culverts, and haul distance for material. A resurface is a modest number, a new lane through bush with clearing and culverts is a project. We quote fixed scope after walking the route.
Yes for a new access onto a municipal or district road. The permit sets culvert size, invert, and sightlines. We handle the application.
Often. If the base is intact, reshaping the crown, cleaning the ditch, and adding a fresh crush top brings it back. We will tell you when the base is gone and patching is wasted money.
Granular B or pit run for base, and 19 mm crushed limestone or granite for the top depending on availability and the finish you want.
Most structural work, additions, decks over a certain height, new plumbing, and finished basements need a permit from the Town of Bracebridge building department. Cosmetic work like flooring, paint, trim, and cabinet swaps usually does not. We handle the permit application, drawings, and inspections as part of the contract so you are not chasing paperwork.
Bracebridge is a short drive from our Huntsville home base, so site visits here are usually next-day. That also means faster response on warranty items and quicker turnaround when a supplier delivery or inspection needs someone on site.

Walk the site with us. We follow up with a fixed-price proposal, usually within two weeks.
