Lake-view kitchens with stone counters and millwork built for entertaining.
Cottage kitchens take a beating: long weekends, big groups, wet feet. We build kitchens that look like the room you Pinterest-saved and live like the room you actually need.
In Bracebridge that work looks specific. Bracebridge sits at the crossroads of Muskoka, with a year-round community, a thriving downtown, and easy access to every lake in the district. It's a short run from our Huntsville home base, so site visits are quick and we keep a real local presence on every project.
Practically, it means we scope kitchen renovations around Lake Muskoka, Muskoka River, Lake Vernon access, the shoreline setbacks that apply to your lot, and a build window that fits the season. Permits and inspections go through the Town of Bracebridge building department, and we file them as part of the contract rather than leaving the paperwork with you.
Oversized islands for breakfast crowds, dual dishwashers for big-group cleanup, hidden second prep zones, and panelled appliances so the kitchen reads as room, not appliance showroom.
We coordinate cabinetry around the layout, appliance package, storage needs, finish goals, and lead times. Solid frames, soft-close hardware, durable finishes, and clear shop drawings are locked before demo.
Quartz for bulletproof entertaining, granite for stone-on-stone cottage feel, soapstone for the patina crowd. Templated, edge-profiled, and seam-planned in our shop.
Cottage kitchens are never their own room. We design sightlines from the cooktop to the lake, sound flow to the dining room, and visual continuity into the hearth wall.

Yes. Bracebridge is inside our regular service area and we run kitchen renovations projects on Lake Muskoka and Muskoka River through the season. We are based in Muskoka, so site visits, warranty callbacks, and supplier runs do not carry travel surcharges from out of district.
Structural work, additions, most decks, shoreline structures, and new plumbing or electrical need a permit from the Town of Bracebridge building department. Cosmetic finishes usually do not. We confirm the requirement during the site visit and handle the application, drawings, and inspection scheduling under the same contract.
Most projects run 6 to 10 weeks on site, with cabinet lead times of 8 to 12 weeks before that.
Send us the project details and we book a site walk in Bracebridge, take measurements and photos, then send a fixed-price written proposal with the scope, allowances, and payment schedule laid out line by line. There is no charge for the visit or the quote.
Most structural work, additions, decks over a certain height, new plumbing, and finished basements need a permit from the Town of Bracebridge building department. Cosmetic work like flooring, paint, trim, and cabinet swaps usually does not. We handle the permit application, drawings, and inspections as part of the contract so you are not chasing paperwork.
Bracebridge is a short drive from our Huntsville home base, so site visits here are usually next-day. That also means faster response on warranty items and quicker turnaround when a supplier delivery or inspection needs someone on site.

Walk the site with us. We follow up with a fixed-price proposal, usually within two weeks.
