A gravel lane in cottage country takes a beating from frost, runoff, and delivery trucks. We build driveways and pathways with the base, crown, and drainage they need so they stay driveable through spring instead of turning into a rut every April.
Every specialty within gravel driveways & pathways, with its own scope, timeline, and fixed-price proposal. Pick the one that matches your project.

Tell us about the space. A real project manager replies within 4 to 8 hours with next steps.
Four things we do on every job, no matter the size. It's how we make sure the finished work still looks and functions the way it should years down the road.
Before we quote or design anything, we walk the site, take real measurements, and ask what you actually want out of the space. The best projects start with a clear picture, not a guess.
Every material gets picked for how it'll look, feel, and hold up over years of real use. We'll tell you where to spend and where you can save without regretting it later.
Straight walls, tight joints, level floors, clean finishes. We take the extra hour it costs to do it right because it saves you the callback and it's the work we want our name on.
One project manager from first quote to final walk-through. Punch lists get closed, the site gets cleaned, and you get a warranty in writing. No loose ends.
All workmanship backed by a 5-year warranty in writing.

No mystery, no ghosting between steps. Here's the exact path from first phone call to final walk-through, with what happens, who's on it, and what you'll have in your hands at the end of each stage.
We walk the route, check grades, drainage crossings, and where the entrance meets the road.
Organics removed, geotextile where needed, granular base placed and compacted in lifts.
Cross-drains and ditches installed so water crosses under the lane, not along it.
Crush top, crowned, compacted, edges cleaned up, and turnarounds finished.
Same project manager from first call to final walk-through.
We run the full scope or with vetted partners on a single contract. Here's what typically lands inside this kind of project.
Grades, drainage crossings, and sightlines checked before the first cut.
Organics stripped, geotextile where needed, granular base compacted in lifts.
Proper crown and ditching so meltwater crosses the lane instead of running it.
Municipal and district entrance applications, culvert size, and sign-off.
Limestone or granite crush placed, crowned, and compacted to a clean finish.
Gravel, stone dust, and flagstone paths with real base and edge restraint.
Two ways to kick things off. Whichever is easier for you.
We'll meet you at the property, pull tape, take photos, and walk the scope with you in person.

Schedule a callGravel lanes are priced by length, width, depth of base, and haul distance for material. A short resurface is a modest number. A new lane through bush with clearing, culverts, and full base build is a project. We quote fixed scope after walking the route.
Typically 150 to 300 mm of compacted granular base with a 50 to 75 mm crush top, deeper where subgrade is soft or the lane carries heavy delivery traffic. On rock we can go thinner, on clay or organics we go deeper and add geotextile.
Almost always no crown, no ditch, or a missing cross-culvert, so meltwater runs down the driveway instead of across it. Fixing the water usually costs less than the gravel you have been replacing each year.
If the entrance meets a municipal or district road, yes. An entrance permit sets the culvert size, invert, and sightlines. We apply and build to the standard as part of the contract.
Often. If the base is still sound, reshaping the crown, cleaning the ditch, and adding a fresh crush top brings it back. We tell you honestly when the base is gone and patching is throwing money at it.
Granular B or pit-run for base and 19 mm crushed limestone or granite for the top, depending on availability and the look you want. Limestone binds tighter, granite drains and holds colour better.
Yes. Parking pads, turnarounds, and back-up bays are worth designing at the same time as the lane, especially on tight cottage lots where delivery trucks need somewhere to swing.
Yes. Gravel, stone dust, and flagstone paths to docks, bunkies, and entries, built with a real base and edge restraint so they hold their shape.
Real projects, real progress shots. Tap through for the full story on any of them.
